About us

Wash Drones is an aerial cleaning business built by people who’ve done the work. We hold CASA operator certificates in Queensland, Victoria and New South Wales, and we’re recognised by the Australian Association for Uncrewed Systems (AAUS) for the standard we operate to.

We clean windows, roofs, façades and solar panels at heights, working alongside exterior cleaners, building managers and contractors to take on the parts of the job that are slow, costly or risky to reach any other way. Everything we’ve learned along the way, from the hardware and training to quoting and safety systems, is now packaged into a franchise model so others can do the same.

Our vision

We want drones to be a standard, trusted tool for cleaning at heights across Australia and beyond, and we want Wash Drones owners to be the operators people call when they do.

Every job flown by a drone is one less person on a rope or a ladder, and that’s the change we’re here to make.

Why start a wash drones. franchise

Drone cleaning looks simple from the ground. In practice it means learning to fly, getting licensed, working out which pumps and chemicals actually do the job, and figuring out how to quote and plan work with a tool that flies. We’ve spent years learning all of that the hard way. A Wash Drones franchise gives you the finished model, so you skip the expensive mistakes and get straight to work, while we support you all the way.

1

Fly It Yourself or Use Our Pilots

You don’t need to be a drone pilot to own a Wash Drones franchise. Choose the pathway that suits you. Get trained and licensed to fly the drone yourself, or use our pilot network to handle the flying while you focus on winning work and growing the business.

2

Licensing and Compliance, Sorted

Flying a drone commercially means working under aviation rules, and overseas drone programs are built around overseas regulations. Wash Drones is built for Australia. We hold CASA operator certificates in three states, guide you through your RePL (25kg endorsement) and give you the systems for site risk assessments, SWMS, flight logging and safe operating procedures, all designed around Australian requirements.

The paperwork that stops most people before they start is already built, and you get local support from people who know the rules you’re working under.

3

Cleaning Methods That Already Work

Spraying water at a building and hoping for the best doesn’t cut it. Our training covers soft washing, roof treatments, mould, mildew and lichen removal, and window cleaning with warm and hot deionised water and a purpose-made solution. You learn methods and mixes that have been tested on real jobs, not worked out on your first customer.

4

Quote, Schedule and Plan in One App

Quoting is where most new operators come unstuck. Even experienced exterior cleaners find pricing a drone job is a whole new skill. We teach you how to assess a site, plan the flight and the clean, and price it so the job makes money. Then our custom-built mobile and web app takes care of the rest, with quoting, scheduling and job planning all in one place. When something’s outside your comfort zone, the network is there to help you work it out.

5

Drone Hardware Proven in the Field

We’ve tried most of the wash and cleaning drones on the market. We chose the Aspira wash drone because it flies stable and holds its position against a building, thanks to specialised sensors and surface tracking software. That means faster, more consistent jobs and a lot less fatigue for the pilot over a long day.

6

A Van Ready to Work From Day One

Your van comes fitted with everything the job needs. Water tanks, DI filters, mixers, electric live hose reels and our proprietary electric pump system, which feeds the drone at steady pressure up to 60 metres. Most pumps can’t do that consistently. Ours does, so you’re not fighting your gear on site.

7

You’re Never Doing It Alone

Join a network of Wash Drones owners doing the same work. Ask questions in the shared WhatsApp group, get a second opinion on a quote, or team up with another franchisee on a bigger job.

8

National marketing, Australia Wide

Wash Drones runs the national marketing, so you don’t have to build a brand from scratch. Our website, advertising and social channels generate enquiries right across Australia, including in areas we don’t yet have operators.
